Vietnamese firms seek partners at international fair in Thailand

Ten Vietnamese enterprises active in the textile and garment and handicraft sectors are participating in Style Bangkok Fair 2019 to look for new partners and sound out opportunities to expand their markets.

The 10 enterprises, including Asian Craft, Little Miss Perfect Vietnam, Manh Tuong Fine Arts Trading, Minh Giang Craft, Hoang Bao Import Export and Viet Lacquer, will be displaying their products at the fair, which will last until October 21.

Nguyen Manh Cuong, director of Asian Craft, a company specializing in jewelry and accessories, told the Saigon Times that his company has participated in the fair for five consecutive years. Its products have been exported to many countries, including those in Europe.

Another Vietnamese firm, Minh Giang Craft, which provides handicraft products made of bamboo, will take part in the event to look for cooperation opportunities with supermarkets and shopping centers. Minh Giang Craft’s products have been put up for sale at tourist destinations in Thailand.

Style Bangkok Fair 2019 features products from the fashion, leather and furniture sectors. Exhibitors at the event this year also introduced products for elderly people and mothers and children as well as animal care and innovative products.

The fair, held by the Commerce Ministry’s Department of International Trade Promotion, gathered 2,000 booths representing enterprises from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and so on.
