520 exhibitors sign up for VietnamPlas 2019

As many as 520 leading exhibitors from local and international markets have registered to participate in the 19th Vietnam International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition, or VietnamPlas 2019, which is expected to kick off at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in HCMC’s District 7 on October 3.

The organizer of the exhibition noted that this year’s edition will showcase various technologies, machines and advanced components supplied and manufactured by various countries and territories like Austria, Belgium, China, Hong Kong, India, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, Thailand and Vietnam.

The exhibition, which wraps up on October 6, will be a special venue for local and international firms to sound out cooperation and investment opportunities.

In addition, the event will feature a seminar, which will gather experts and leading firms active in the industry to introduce smart and sustainable products and technologies that help enhance the efficiency of firms.

The plastics and rubber industry is forecast to gain ground in the coming time due to Vietnam’s deep global integration and foreign firms’ ongoing production shift to Vietnam.

Over the past few years, the growth rate of the local plastics and rubber sector has been recorded at high levels, taking the second spot in the ASEAN region, after Thailand.
