Phu My Hung City Centre set for annual Green Farm Festival
Thousands people are expected to attend the annual Green Farm Festival organised by Phu My Hung Development Corporation this weekend (August 24-25).
This is for the fourth year the festival, meant to raise awareness about living in harmony with the environment among people living in HCM City, is being organised.
“Song Xanh – Song Khoe”, or live green-live healthy, will be held from 8am to 8pm on both days at the Crescent Lake area next to Crescent Mall in the Phu My Hung City Centre in District 7.
The Phu My Hung Development Corporation said the event is one of many programmes they organise every year to provide their residents a better life so that they can together improve living standards in Phu My Hung City Centre.
The company also said it expected the Green Farm Festival to inspire a new healthy lifestyle and hoped this movement could be widely popularised in neighbouring areas.
At the festival, participants will be encouraged to use products that are organic and environment-friendly.
Many such products will be introduced at the festival like fruits, vegetables, eggs, milk, rice, ornamental trees, cosmetics, and herbal supplements.
They are made by some 40 prestigious brands like Vinamilk, Everyday Organic, Honey Land, VietRAT, Bach Hoa Nha Que, DalatFOODIE, Kien Huy Fram, 3S organic vegetable chain, Organica, Thuc Pham Nong Lam Thang Long high-tech agriculture company, O-H-A, Dasa, Midori Shop, RG Group, Trai cay Cai Mon Do Nha Que, The Organic House, One4one, Anna Food House, Gagaco Agriculture, Bay Ky Garden, FarmShop, Kem Shalala, Danny Green, Dat Butter, and Phan Thiet Specialty.The festival will showcase many organic farming models for visitors to study and try at home.
There will be a kids’ area with traditional and modern entertainment.
Entry is free and visitors can take part in a lucky draw in which everyone can win a prize.
