NovaHills Resort & Villas: leader in Phan Thiet branded villa market

An opportunity to invest in coastal villa segment has been offered investors in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet city, in the south-central province of Binh Thuan, with the developer accepting payments of VND2 billion (equivalent to 30 per cent of the price of a villa) in instalments over three years.

Have VND2 billion? Own a fully equipped villa with a sea view

In the past, when someone mentioned people who owned villas overlooking the sea, one would often think of billionaires and prices of at least VND20 billion. This perception has been totally changed by NovaHills Mui Ne Resort & Villas, which offers investors such sea-view villas for a mere VND7 billion.

The project developer, Novaland Group, since launching the project, has announced a number of promotions.

For instance, local and foreign buyers of single villas can pay VND2 billion in instalments over three years, get an 85 per cent share of profits when their villa is leased and receive gifts totally worth three taels of gold.

Kim Long of District 1 in HCM City, who has invested a lot of money in the segment, said NovaHills Mui Ne Resort & Villas is the best hospitality real estate project in Phan Thiet to date.

He decided to invest in the project, expecting solid profits, and now expects them to increase to three or four times thanks to the company’s promotions, he said.

The lesser, the higher value

In the hospitality real estate market, there is a shortage of villas set on mountainsides with sea views since not many beaches around the country have hills near them.

Thus, its location on a mountainside overlooking the sea is a big plus for NovaHills Mui Ne Resort & Villas, one that has been hailed by investors. One more attraction for investors is a 250m long swimming pool.

NovaHills Mui Ne Resort & Villas project has 600 villas situated at various heights from 15m to 85m.

Designed in pish style, the project has a multi-level swimming pool, a flower hill, a large park, a water sports club, medical centre, trade centre, food court, and a 100m tall observation tower.

The prosperity of Mui Ne second-home market

Mui Ne has become one of the most attractive destinations for tourists in Southeast Asia because it is a rare place with sand hills, which are compared to small deserts.

In addition, with over 50 tourism attractions, Mui Ne is an ideal place for adventure tourism.

The weather that is warm all year is another advantage to attract tourists.

Zinke Elke from Germany said she and her husband had holidayed in Mui Ne six times for one to three months each time.

The warm weather plus good services and fresh air were the reasons she and her husband chose Binh Thuan for their vacation, she said.

Alina Ruzano of Russia said this was the first time her family was visiting Mui Ne, and everyone was surprised by the good weather, friendly locals and delicious food.

They would come again to Mui Ne for sure, she said.

In February this year Binh Thuan welcomed some 513,500 visitors, an increase of 13 per cent year-on-year. They included over 67,000 foreigners, a 14 per cent jump.

Tourism brought the province revenues of VND1.2 trillion that month, a 13 per cent increase.

The province’s tourism sector is expected to get a further boost when the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet Highway to HCM City is completed after three years. Construction is set to begin in the third quarter of this year.

Besides, Phan Thiet Airport will be complete next year.

These improvements in infrastructure are expected to provide a big push to the tourism sector.

The local hospitality market is forecast to develop further thanks to the rising incomes among Vietnamese. The per capita income growth in Viet Nam is nearly 8 per cent, the second highest in Southeast Asia.

A report said that by 2035 half of the Vietnamese population would have high incomes.

The increase in the young population and rate of young people having high incomes will also create great momentum for the tourism sector.

Nguyen Truong Hai of HCM City’s Thu Duc District said: “The price of VND7 billion onwards with a first instalment of VND2 billion is a good offer. Furthermore, the project has an impressive design.

“I decide to buy as it met our two targets of investing and having a place to relax during leisure.”
