Vietnam Expo 2019 returns to Ha Noi

The Viet Nam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2019) will return to Ha Noi in April, drawing about 550 exhibitors from 20 countries and territories.

The forthcoming fair will gather top exporters of plastic, rubber, and construction materials, as well as businesses in support industries, said Nguyen Khac Luan, general director of the Viet Nam National Trade Fair & Advertising JSC, the event’s organiser.

He said that many foreign businesses – including those from Algeria, India, Cambodia, Canada, Armenia, Russia, Cuba, Taiwan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Japan, and mainland China – have confirmed their participation.

Notably, a special pavilion will be organised by the Korean Institute of Design Promotion under the RoK’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and Viet Nam’s Trade Promotion Agency to give enterprises support and advice in product design and development.

In addition, an area for investment promotion and industry development in Viet Nam (Invest in Vietnam) will be included at the Vietnam Expo 2019, providing updates on the country’s investment climate and introducing six industries and investment destinations across Viet Nam.

This year’s event, which is slated to be held from April 10-13 at the International Centre of Exhibition, expects over 15,000 visitors. Last year, the event saw the participation of 500 enterprises from 23 countries and territories with 550 booths, along with 4,370 visitors.
