Vietbuild Home expo begins in HCM City

Vietbuild Home, the annual exhibition on real estate, interior and exterior decoration and household appliances, opened on Wednesday in HCM City with many new products and brands on show.

More than 450 exhibitors from 18 countries and territories, including the US, UK, Japan, Russia, France, the Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, Singapore, China, Australia, and Viet Nam, are exhibiting products related to construction, intelligent housing systems, decorative items like wallpaper, carpets and rugs, decorative lights, household equipment like air conditioners, kitchen utensils and more on over 2,200 booths.

Nguyen Dinh Hung, chairman of Vietbuild Construction International Exhibition Organising Corp., said exhibitors have studied the market’s demands and come up with products with new designs and features and of higher quality.

There are property transaction floors with housing for low-income earners together with incentives.

The exhibition also includes a business forum to exchange information and explore future co-operation and conferences for companies and customers to meet.

According to the expo’s organisers, the demand for interior and exterior furnishing items usually increases at the year-end as people renovate their homes for the Lunar New Year.

The event is therefore well-timed for companies to market their products and consumers to look for home decor, they said.

The expo, on at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7, will run until December 23.
