Five partners pledge funds for Kingdom

The five stakeholders of the Partnerships for Development Results project – UNDP, the EU, Australia, Sweden and the US – held an annual meeting on Wednesday.

A Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) press release announced that it was agreed that a further $700,000 in funding would be provided to the project between next year and 2020.

The meeting was also held to summarise this year’s progress, discuss upcoming challenges for the project, as well as adopt an action plan and budget for next year.

The project was first implemented in 2011 with the purpose of facilitating cooperation with the Cambodian government on implementing the Sixth National Development Plan 2011-2015.

The development plan focused on the localisation of sustainable development, financial cooperation and component management in the public investment sector and industry development implementation policy.
