South Korean travellers opt for Altara Suites in Danang

Danang has been named among the world’s 10 destinations favoured by South Korean families and couples, with Altara Suites emerging as a top choice among high-class hospitality establishments.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the number of South Korean arrivals to Vietnam has increased strongly since last year. Approximately 53,000 Korean visitors travelled to Vietnam in 2000, and this number increased significantly to over 1.5 million in 2017. Within only the first eight months of 2018, more than 1.5 million passengers arrived to Vietnam, an increase of nearly 50 per cent over the same period last year. This made South Korea one of the largest markets for Vietnamese tourism.

Particularly, the number of South Korean tourists coming to the coastal city of Danang has sharply increased in recent years. During the first eight months of 2018, the city received nearly 800,000 Korean arrivals, an increase of 75 per cent in comparison with the same period last year, occupying 40 per cent of international arrivals to the city.

Earlier, Danang has been named among the world’s 10 most popular destinations for South Korean families and couples, according to a list released by Ticket Monster Inc., a tour operator. This notable result creates challenges for tourism products and service development in this city. This fact urges hoteliers and catering people to build and perfect their service ecosystems such as amenities and facilities to better suit the needs of Korean travellers.

Fully furnished apartments and breath-taking views

One of the greatest things about travelling is getting the chance to take in breath-taking scenery that you cannot find at home. If you want to really savour the experience, stay at Altara Suites that offers spectacular views from rooms and every corner of the hotel. The magical view boasts of the glistening My Khe beach, stretching along the skyline around Son Tra peninsula – a magnificent sight from the infinity pool with a bar serving food and drinks, or the lavish restaurant named Altitude which offers a so-called million-dollar view of the sea, mountains, and the city of Danang.

Each suite features a convenient floor plan with one or two bedrooms, equipped with a kitchenette and in-room washer and dryer that customers can use at their disposal. All 151 fully-equipped apartments have cosy, contemporary interiors with lavish living areas fronted by walls of glass to maximise city views.

Customised services

The best luxury services are customised, not standardised. Altara Suites proudly caters to all guests by a great team of both management and front-line staff who offer excellent services with empathy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to make visitors feel cared for.

To ensure truly unique services for travellers, Altara Suites has entered into a co-operation with professional management agency Ri-Yaz Hotels and Resorts. The collaboration has been going for months and brought top-notch services to customers from all around the world. The dedication of the team has paid off. Hundreds of positive comments about the property have spread all over the online travel channels, such as Agoda, TripAdvisor, and Booking.com. This is a testament for Altara Suites’ high-class service quality and also a valuable benchmark for future travellers when thinking about choosing a place to stay around Danang.

Leisure facilities designed for relaxation

Guests returning from their daily immersion in the local culture and scenery can reward themselves at the facility areas of Altara Suites. The mix of urban living with the intimacy of a luxury apartment makes the leisure experience delightful and personal.

Special amenities to keep residents looking fresh and relaxed with complimentary amenities include the gym, sauna, and the infinity pool, bar, and free tea and coffee each morning, free newspapers, and everything you can ask from a 5-star leisure destination. Customers can enjoy a dip in the fabulous infinity pool on top of the building with a panoramic view of the most famous attractions of Danang, spend some time at Altara’s relaxing sauna or visit the gym to work off all the stress or the delectable buffet breakfast at Altitude restaurant.

With its unbeatable advantages, Korean visitors have been increasingly giving love and choosing Altara Suites from among hundreds of luxury hotels in Danang.

Nothing says more about Altara Suites than this 5-star review from TripAdvisor: 'Beachside, these apartments are nothing short of breath-taking. For now I would certainly classify this beautiful establishment as a resort, although these suites are advertised as apartments. This place has the feel of a 5-star resort.’
