Ha Noi Gift Show 2018 opens

The Ha Noi Gift Show 2018 opened on Wednesday, attracting the participation of hundreds of foreign importers seeking co-operation opportunities with Vietnamese businesses.

 

The event features more than 100 new products from domestic and foreign designers, including winners of a handicraft design contest this year.

With more than 650 stalls and nearly 250 domestic and foreign firms from India, Nepal, Japan, the Republic of Korea and China, the show is expected to lure some 12,000 visitors, including more than 600 importers from the US, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada and Brazil.

Within the framework of the event, there will be a seminar on craft villages and handicraft products, creating condition for enterprises, artisans and skilled workers to exchange their experience.

Up to 40 university students majoring in the English, Japanese, and French languages are present to help domestic firms connect with foreign buyers, according to the organising board. The show is taking place at the National Construction Planning Exhibition and will run until October 20.
