Ministry to auction stake at Bach Dang Corporation

The Ministry of Construction will auction its stakes at Bach Dang Construction Corporation JSC on June 18.

The entire stake is equivalent to more than VND205 billion (US$8.97 million), or 94.61 per cent of total shares.

The auction will be held at the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, and the starting price is VND13,300 per share, the exchange said.

Currently, the firm has a charter capital of more than VND217 billion ($9.49 million).

Bach Dang Construction Corporation has one subsidiary, Bach Dang 201 Construction JSC, and owns 55.31 per cent of the capital in this firm.

It also owns between 4 and 37 per cent of the capital in 20 associated companies.

In 2018, Bach Dang Construction Corporation targets more than VND3.56 trillion ($155.75 million) in revenue and VND20 billion ($875,000) in post-tax profit, up by 60.82 per cent and 35.6 per cent from last year, respectively.

The company operates in industrial structure construction; irrigation; post; airport; ports; urban and industrial park infrastructure; housing, rail and road infrastructure building as well as property business.
