Da Nang hosts agriculture expo

The central city of Da Nang is hosting the 18th Viet Nam International Agriculture Trade Fair (AgroViet 2018) from June 28 to July 1.

Themed “High-tech Farm Produce Towards Sustainable Agricultural Development”, AgroViet 2018 will give the sector a chance to boost international co-operation while connecting businesses and consumers and creating opportunities for enterprises to promote domestic produce.

The fair is held annually with the aim of improving the image of the country’s agriculture sector and introducing advancements in science and technology, food production, agro-forestry, fisheries and organic agriculture.

It is also an opportunity for provinces, businesses and organisations to promote their investment potential.

Participants will have the chance to meet new partners and promote the production of safe agricultural goods for export and domestic consumption to increase the value of agricultural product development in Viet Nam.

Equipment and machinery used in agricultural production and processing, veterinary drugs, pesticides, and safe agricultural and aquatic products will also be on display.

The event takes place at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre, 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Cam Le District.
