Da Lat market hi-tech farming models, produce

More than 100 enterprises are presenting fruits, vegetables and other farm produce to international and domestic customers at a market in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province.

The market, held as part of the seventh Da Lat Flower Festival, has nearly 180 booths, some of which are displaying hi-tech agriculture models being implemented in some localities like Lam Dong, HCM City and Dong Thap, as well as equipment in hi-tech farming.

In his speech at the market’s opening ceremony on Saturday, the provincial People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Phan Van Da, described the event as a good chance for participating firms to explore new business opportunities, make trade connections and share experiences in technical application towards turning out competitive agricultural products.

The event will close on Friday.
