VTG 2017 returns with business networking opportunities

As a major driver behind the growth of the Vietnamese garment industry, VTG has been recognised by many renowned international brands as a useful conduit to tap into the booming Vietnamese market.

The 17th edition of Vietnam International Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition and Vietnam International Textile and Apparel Accessories Exhibition, collectively known as VTG 2017, will land concurrently on November 22-25 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7.

This is the second time for VTG to take place at the spacious venue to accommodate more exhibitors.

This year, over 12,000 square metres of exhibition space will house 400 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, namely China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

The strong presence of foreign exhibitors underscores the high international prestige of the event.

The event focuses on the complete value chains of the textile and garment sectors, covering Textile and Apparel Processing Machines, Accessories, Fibers, Filament, as well as Yarn and Fabrics, with as many as 400 exhibitors gathering under one roof to showcase state-of-the-art machines and solutions catering to Vietnamese market needs.

Among the main exhibits are a variety of sewing machines, such as a four-thread super high-speed overlock sewing machine with auto trimmer from China’s leading supplier TYPICAL, and a high-end computerised industrial sewing machine from HIKARI, one of the world's largest manufacturers in the line.

As always, a series of fringe programmes will be held during the show period.

Numerous keynote speakers from powerful industry associations and featured exhibitors will gather at VTG to provide valuable advice on topics like how Vietnam prepares for free trade agreements (FTAs), the impact of the Industry 4.0, and how to stay ahead the ever-changing market.

Lecturers who confirmed their presence at the seminars include those from the Export Import Department belonging to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Association of Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association, and the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association.

Visitors will have a chance to access a spate of international and local industrial innovations, get the latest market information, and network with key industry players from different fields.

Online visitor pre-registration is readily available at the VTG's official website.

VTG 2017 is officially organised by Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising JSC (VINEXAD) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd. (YORKERS), and co-organised by Guangdong Sewing Equipment Chamber Commerce (GDSEWING), the Hong Kong Apparel Machinery Association (HKAMA), and Paper Communication Exhibition Services (PAPERCOM).
