Samsung Vietnam organises 2017 recruitment test

Samsung Vietnam has held its Global Samsung Aptitude Test for applicants in the northern areas at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi to recruit high-skill candidates.

2,200 engineering applicants were selected from the 20,000 bachelor graduates to join the GSAT this time.

GSAT is Samsung’s global capacity test for new university graduate candidates. The test is based on three main topics, mathematical ability, deductive reasoning, and visual thinking. This is one of the first rounds of the recruitment process for graduate staff at all Samsung subsidiaries worldwide.

If the candidates pass the GSAT, they will go through to the interview round in December 2017. After two officially rounds, suitable applicants will become official employees of Samsung Vietnam to be deployed at seven facilities and Samsung Vietnam’s centres in Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, and Hanoi.

Samsung Vietnam has been organising GSAT since 2011, and there have been more than 12,300 successful applicants. The recruitment of a large number of university graduates is part of Samsung’s expansion plan in Vietnam.
