VRG Dongwha’s MDF plant starts operation at $70 million second line

VRG Dongwha JSC on Monday began operations at the VND1.55 trillion (US$70 million) second production line of its medium-density fibreboard (MDF) plant in the Minh Hung III Industrial Zone in the southern province of Binh Phuoc’s Chon Thanh District.

 

The facility covers an area of 6.4ha and has an annual capacity to produce 180,000cu.m of MDF.

With the operation of this second line, total production capacity of the plant will increase to 480,000cu.m of MDF per year. Investment for the entire project is around VND4.85 trillion ($213.4 million).

The construction of the second facility was started in March 8, 2016.

VRG Dongwha is a joint venture between South Korea’s Dongwha Group and the Viet Nam Rubber Industry Group.
