Government working out bugs in certificate system

The Ministry of Commerce has called for traders to be patient as it works out the kinks in its automated certificate of origin system.

The ministry said in a press release yesterday that the new online platform has been unable to keep up with the high number of applicants, resulting in delays.

The ministry added that it was working to improve its data centre to handle the load.
