TTC Energy to instal solar panels for Ben Tre department store

TTC Energy Joint Stock Company has signed an agreement with Saigon Co.op Investment Development Joint Stock Company to install a 588 kWp solar power system on the roof of the latter’s Sense City Department Store in Ben Tre city.

TTC Energy, a member of the TTC Group, will use 280W mono solar panels produced in the US.

The agreement makes Sense City Ben Tre the first department store in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta to use clean energy.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of an investment promotion conference held in Ben Tre Province on July 20 in the presence of former Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong and chairman of the Government Office and minister, Mai Tien Dung.

At the conference, which was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and many senior officials, TTC Group got the licence for its Binh Đai wind power plant from Ben Tre authorities.

To be built by the Mekong Wind Power JSC, another member of the TTC Group, the plant’ 15 wind turbines will have a capacity of 30MW and is expected to start producing power in 2019-20.
