BIM Group challenges new heights in luxury resorts

Vietnamese-diversified BIM Group is challenging new heights in property development with investments worth hundreds of millions of dollars in luxury resorts on Phu Quoc Island.

The group has invested more than US$300 million in the Phu Quoc Marina Tourism Complex, which covers 155ha, with a vision to turn it into the “Sentosa” of Việt Nam.

Standing out because of its competiveness with continuous efforts to introduce original property products to the market, and especially cooperation with global brands such as InterContinental Hotels Group, Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd and The Ascott Limited, BIM Group is expanding rapidly in the luxury resort segment in both domestic and foreign markets.

BIM Group has expanded its reach to Laos with the opening of Crown Plaza Vientiniane, the first five-star hotel in Laos, in April.

A number of high-profile projects of BIM Group are ready to heat up the market this year, including InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort & Residences, the first condotel project in Asia under luxury brand InterContinental; and Citadines Marine Ha Long, the first condotel project in Ha Long with all units overlooking the Bay under the management of The Ascott Limited.

BIM Group is also hastening investment in commercial property by cooperating with AEON Mall Viet Nam to develop a16.7ha mall in Ha Dong District, which is expected to open in the last quarter of 2019.

With more than 20 years of development, BIM Group has gained a reputation in tourism development, property investment, agriculture-food and trade services, resulting in a vibrant and continuous business development story.

BIM has its credit to a line-up of projects, namely Green Bay Towers, Green Bay Village, Pearl Villas, Royal Lotus Villas & Resort and Little Vietnam.

Not everyone is aware, but the group deserves the title of the “banyan tree” in the field of agriculture and food as it is one of the largest fishery producers and exporters in the country, with total farming area of 1,600ha.

Since the 2000s, the group has set up a number of fishery farming projects, such as the 251ha Minh Thanh farm, 1,234ha Dong Hoa shrimp breeding region, Phu Quoc breed development centre and Tac Cau fishery processing plant. Its fishery products are exported to markets such as the United States, the European Union and Japan. The group also owns the largest salt field in Southeast Asia, which has an annual capacity of 500,000 tonnes.

In 2010, the BIM Group entered the trade and services sector with luxury gym Elite Fitness, which has dozens of centres in Ha Noi, HCM City and Ha Long. It also owns the Zpizza restaurant chain.
