3M Vietnam inaugurates new plant in Dong Nai

3M Vietnam Ltd. Company (3M Vietnam) held the opening ceremony of its new plant in Long Thanh-Dong Nai Industrial Zone in the southern province of Dong Nai, with the aim of manufacturing various products to meet the increasing demand from customers.

The opening ceremony was held on July 14, 2017 in Long Thanh-Dong Nai Industrial Zone. 3M Vietnam’s ​​new 5,500-square metre facility will manufacture consumer and industrial products, such as Scotch-Brite scouring pads and Abrasive belts using proprietary 3M technology and process to cater to the fast-changing needs of customers.

SungJong Yoon, managing director of 3M Vietnam, said, "The new plant plays an important role in meeting the increasing demands of domestic and export manufacturers. The expansion of our plant in Long Thanh is an important pillar of 3M in the Vietnamese market, marking the continuous development of the company in expanding production lines, processing, and distribution of 3M products. We are committed to providing high-quality products to our customers.”
