Vietnamese firms join South African trade fair

Several Vietnamese firms are showcasing products at the 24th South African International Trade Exhibition (SAITEX), underway in Johannesburg City, South Africa.

Among the goods on display are farm produce, household appliances and wooden furniture.

Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Vu Van Dung described the event as a good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to advertise their export staples in South Africa and Africa in general to deeply integrate with these lucrative markets.

SAITEX is the largest annual international trade fair in Africa, aimed at boosting trade exchange between South Africa and other countries while creating better links between producers, exporters, importers and distributors.

This year’s exhibition, which runs through Tuesday, has attracted the participation of nearly 600 businesses.
