GDT officials work on tax treaty with Hong Kong
Cambodian tax officials met with their counterparts in Hong Kong last week as part of the first round of discussions for drafting a double taxation agreement (DTA) aimed at preventing dual taxation and fiscal evasion, the General Department of Taxation (GDT) said yesterday in a press release.
The discussions between GDT and Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department officials were held over five days from June 19 to 23, according to the release. Cambodia has DTAs with Singapore and China, and is developing framework agreements with Russia and South Korea.
