Ardeco eyes building materials supply

As Laos is gearing up for the development of infrastructure, with more and more buildings mushrooming in several major cities, the use of modernised items for construction is necessary. Now Ardeco, a private company, is ready to be a supplier of those imported materials.

The Architecture Design & Engineering Consultants Sourcing & Building Materials Company (Ardeco), a Vientiane-based company for architecture design and building materials supplies, expects that the use of modern building materials will be on the rise.

As a dealer in multiple products, the company recently held an opening ceremony to introduce the HEVTA uPVC Windows and Doors System, Onduline waterproof and durable roofing, and ABB Limited's electrical equipment and Solar Energy Systems in Vientiane last Saturday.

Obviously we can notice that the trend in commercial complexes, individual buildings and companies are on the rise because many buildings are using these products, the company's Director Mr Prathana Kayavong told media representatives.

He said the company intended to present Lao customers with high quality imported products at affordable prices.

For instance, Onduline roofing may be a little bit expensive but it is durable up to 50 years, Mr Prathana said, saying that these products will be additional options for the Lao public because the development of infrastructure is demanding.

Ardeco is also a long-time experienced company in the dealership of a wide range of imported products including artificial grass, tiles and other architectural materials.

HEVTA uPVC windows doors can provide a single-point lock, and multi-point gear locks can provide openings as big as 3 metres and also design for high luxury condominiums.

The multi-point gear lock uses VILANN Technology. The hardware is made from galvanised steel and stainless steel which is high strength and rust proof.

In addition, Onduline offers reliable and durable roofing and waterproofing solutions for a wide range of buildings such as individual houses, and institutional, commercial and industrial buildings.

Onduline is a world leader in manufacturing bituminous corrugated roofing materials. The lightweight eco roofing system is used worldwide for many agricultural, industrial and DIY applications.

ABB Limited manufactures, markets, and supplies industrial motors and drives, generators, and power grids for customers worldwide.

It offers electrification products suitable for multiple electrical applications from residential home automation to industrial buildings, including low-voltage circuit breakers, switches, control products, wiring accessories, enclosures, and cable systems.

At the same time, the Solar Energy Systems was also introduced at Saturday's event, aiming to attract a number of local customers.
