VN tourism introduced at Belgian fair

Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier, is running a booth at the Brussels International Tourism Fair to spread information on Vietnamese tourism.

Viet Nam’s Ambassador to Belgium Vuong Thua Phong visited the booth on the first day of the fair on Thursday and said Viet Nam’s overseas representative agencies worked with the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Airlines and travel firms to promote Vietnamese tourism.

Viet Nam has created favourable conditions for visitors, with a decree on piloting e-visa procedures for some countries.

Ambassador Phong said the quality of tourist products would be more important to attract EU tourists to Viet Nam than simplifying procedures.

With nearly 800 booths from tourism companies and airlines from 65 countries, the Brussels International Fair, which runs until tomorrow, introduced a wide range of destinations.
