Vietbuild 2016 international exhibition kicks off

The third Vietbuild 2016 international exhibition, themed “Real Estate - Interior & Exterior Decoration and Building Materials,” opened in Ha Noi on November 16.

The event, one of the most prestigious in the construction industry, attracted participation from 420 domestic and international enterprises operating in the construction, real estate and interior-exterior decoration industries.

Participants included 270 domestic firms, 93 joint ventures and 60 foreign groups as well as companies from 22 countries and territories, such as the Republic of Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand, as well as Germany, Singapore, the United States and Taiwan, in addition to France, China, Australia and South Korea, along with Poland and Viet Nam.

The event features 1,350 booths, each displaying a wide range of building materials, machinery and technologies, interior-exterior decorations and real estate. Nguyen Tran Nam, Chairman of the Viet Nam Real Estate Association, said the exhibition offered firms and management agencies the opportunity to assess the property market. It also helped enterprises find faults in their business activities, he added.

Conferences on advanced green technology, products used in the building material industry and interior and exterior decorations will also be held on the sidelines of the expo.The 3rd Vietbuild Hanoi International Expo 2016 aims to create a golden opportunity for enterprises and managers to further their understanding of the market during the ongoing integration process.

The event will run through November 20 at the National Construction Exhibition Centre in Nam Tu Liem District.
