MoIT launches website for supply industry

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) today launched a website to regularly update legal documents and policies of state agencies on the supply industry at www.support.gov.vn.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Do Thang Hai, deputy minister of industry and trade, said over the past years, the government has issued policies and provided resources for development of the industry. Information technology and communication have been efficient tools for the local business community in approaching policies and resources.

Therefore, the opening of the portal was to meet policy information demand of the supply industry, in particular, and the industry and trade sector, in general, Hai said.

He said the government has directed the MoIT to build the website to provide complete and comprehensive information about the supply industry to state management offices, associations and enterprises related to the industry and connect between sellers and buyers in the industry.

According to a government decree on developing the domestic supply industry, the website will partly contribute to boost further development of Viet Nam's supply industry, he said.

The ministry's Heavy Industrial Department said a general introduction about the supply industry and information on regulations and documents related to the industry are available on the website. It also has information about projects and plans of the supply industry.
