Entrepreneurship to be taught in the classroom

Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron has unveiled a plan to add coursework on entrepreneurship to the school and university curricula starting in the next academic year, state news agency AKP said yesterday.

The materials aim at improving the technical and vocational skills of youth, with the goal being to better prepare these youth to work – either as employees or self-employed – in competitive markets. Naron said recently that existing technical training has neither been consistent nor comprehensive.
