Viet Nam Airlines partners with Japan’s ANA

National carrier Viet Nam Airlines (VNA) and Japan’s ANA Holdings Inc will officially implement cooperative programmes from October 30.

The two airlines will cooperate on 10 international routes between Viet Nam and Japan and 25 key domestic routes in both countries, being expected to help customers travel more conveniently.

In addition, passengers who have ANA Mileage Club and Viet Nam Airlines’ Lotusmiles membership cards can earn miles when flying with both airlines.

These are the first cooperative activities since ANA Holdings completed its transaction to take possession of 8.77% stake in VNA in June, to become a strategic shareholder.

General Director of ANA Holdings Shinya Katanozaka emphasised that ANA and VNA would connect Viet Nam with Japan, contributing to promoting the development of their economies and cultures, as well as the relations between the two nations.
