Gov't launches website to address business concerns

The Government launched a new website this month which enables businesses to send feedback and suggestions.

The website, http://doanhnghiep.chinhphu.vn/, is in Vietnamese only and is run by the Government Office.

Comments, difficulties, and obstacles raised by businesses - particularly regarding mechanisms, policies, transactions and expenditures - will be answered by ministries, agencies and localities.

"The website will bridge the State and the business community," Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung said. "A similar website connecting the State and the people will also be launched soon. Thus, all concerns and suggestions of businesses and the people will be published transparently."

The Government Office and the Chairman will set up a working group to respond to the feedback submitted.

The website's debut is in line with statements made by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who promised to create a website to listen to suggestions by businesses in a timely manner during his speech at an investment promotion conference in Hà Nam Province in August.

To date 186 submissions involving a wide range of sectors, including finance, banking, investment, transport, construction and insurance, have been submitted to the website. Over 100 have already been answered.
