ETCM (L) Pty. Ltd. receives 2016 Nissan Global Award

ETCM (L) Pty. Ltd., a subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. (Malaysia) and Distributor of Nissan vehicles has received the 2016 Nissan Global Award for National Sale Company. Through Tan Chong Motor (Lao) Sole Co., Ltd., it offers a total ownership experience to Nissan customers.

The 2016 Nissan Global Award is a worldwide programme which recognises Nissan distributors based on outstanding performance during fiscal year 2015 in terms of sales volume and market share achievement.

The award ceremony was held last week in Vientiane, attended by Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Management of Nissan Motor Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. (NMAP) based in Thailand, Mr Kenji Naito, Senior Regional Director (Indochina) of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd Dato' Dr Ang Bon Beng, Managing Director of Tan Chong Motor (Lao) Sole Co., Ltd. Mr Song Choon Beng and executive boards of the company.

Firstly, we would like to thank Nissan for recognising Tan Chong's effort and commitment in building the Nissan brand and business in Laos. Secondly, we would not have made it this far without the cooperation of our esteemed Nissan dealers and their strong faith in the business, said Dato' Dr Ang.

As the proud recipient of the 2016 Nissan Global Award for National Sales Company, Tan Chong Motor Laos will continue to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction and expand Nissan presence in Laos, he added.

Apart from sales, Tan Chong Motor Laos is committed to providing quality aftersales service to Nissan customers. Nissan technicians are trained in the latest vehicle technologies while service centres are well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and tools to care for all Nissan models.

Nissan service centres utilise exclusive Nissan diagnostic tools to diagnose vehicles' engine and electronic systems and perform maintenance and repairs using only genuine Nissan parts to provide customers with quality products and services.

To commemorate this significant occasion, and as a token of appreciation to their valued customers, Tan Chong Motor Laos will be running a special campaign from October onwards. There will be various prizes to be won as well as rebates of up to US$2,000, said Dato' Dr Ang.

Ideally, Tan Chong wants to expand in every direction in the big towns in Laos, especially Pakxe district in Champasak province and Kaysone Phomvihane district in Savannakhet province, but the current economic climate is not so good so expansion will take place year by year.

The Lao motor market is quite complex but the company hopes to increase its market share by 1-2 percent every year, Dato' Dr Ang said.
