Huawei contributes to education development in Laos

Huawei Technologies (Laos) Co. Ltd recently presented 37 laptops to schools in Laos, which is part of the company's policy to contribute to socio-economic development in Laos.

The laptops handed over amounted to US$37,000 (more than 297 million kip). Of these, seven laptops were presented to the Chinese Confucius Institute at the National University of Laos, 10 laptops were each gi ven to Nongping Primary School, Vientiane Secondary School, and the Cooperative Orthotic and Prosthetic Enterprise (COPE) Centre.

In the past, Huawei Technologies (Laos) Co.,Ltd had made social contributions including providing aid relief for natural disaster victims including the extreme cold snap that hit Laos earlier this year.

Huawei, a global leading technology company, has pledged to continue extending its contribution to the socio-economic development of Laos in line with the Party and state's guidelines and plans.
