JOGMEC to explore for gold in Ratanakkiri

Canadian mining firm Angkor Gold has entered into a joint exploration agreement with Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp (JOGMEC) to explore Angkor’s Oyadao South licence in Ratanakkiri province, the company said in a press release yesterday.

The agreement gives JOGMEC the option to acquire 51 per cent of the licence for a total investment of $3 million in exploration expenditures over a 3 year period.
