Mekong tourism forum to be held on Sokha Beach

The Mekong Tourism Forum has officially confirmed the speakers for the annual regional meeting, which will take place at the Sokha Beach Resort in Sihanoukville from July 5 to 8.

Hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, this year’s theme is “Authentic Experiences in the Mekong Region,” where tourism ministers, director generals, travel industry CEOs and leaders of the private sector will address current and future challenges and opportunities facing tourism in the Mekong region, according to yesterday’s press release.

The forum will also be led by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which invites the travel and tourism industry to develop a 10-year GMS Tourism Sector strategy.
