Ford sales skyrocket in first quarter of 2016

Sales of Ford automobiles shot up 124 per cent in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period in 2015, RMA Cambodia said in a press release yesterday.

The company, the sole authorised distributor of the American automaker’s cars in the Kingdom, said that while pick-up trucks proved to be the most popular vehicle sold, a marketable trend could be seen in the sales of sedan and sport utility vehicle (SUV) sales – notably the Ford Explorer and Everest models.

The release did not indicate the total units sold during the quarter.
