Binh Dinh attracts $137m in investment in Q1

The central province of Binh Dinh granted eight investment certificates and issued new business certificates to 167 enterprises with total registered capital hitting VND3.16 trillion (US$137 million) in the first quarter of this year.

Notable investment projects included the FLC hotel and shopping mall complex funded by Faros Construction JSC with registered capital of more than VND2 trillion and a high-tech pig breeding farm worth VND300 billion in Phu Cat District.

The newly-established firms have registered a total capital of VND726 billion, up 13.3 per cent compared to the same period last year.

So far, Binh Dinh has attracted 59 foreign-invested projects worth $554 million.
