Sun Group’s first golf course elevates Ba Na to new heights

On March 25, domestic real estate developer Sun Group held the official opening ceremony of Ba Na Hills Golf Club in Ba Na in the central city of Danang.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club is a mountain course with a diverse mix of natural topography and vegetation. It is located on Ba Na-Suoi Mo road, next to Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort, and only 25 minutes from Danang. In the first phase, the golf course has an area of 165 hectares and 18 holes.

The golf course was constructed with world famous golfer Luke Donald as the design consultant. Services are provided by IMG Golf Course Services.

The facilities include a restaurant that provides a panoramic view of the golf course so guests can relax in style, enjoying a selection of Asian and Western cuisine whilst watching players approach the 18th green, as well as two private rooms ideal for small meetings or private dining.

The club’s Pro-Shop offers a wide selection of logo apparel and golf equipment from international brands, such as Puma, Titleist, Footjoy, Cobra, and many others. The floodlit driving range offers 18 covered, all-weather hitting bays, USGA standard chipping and putting practice areas, and two state-of-the-art golf instruction studios. The landing zone fairway has eight bunkers and five greens spread out over 300 yards.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club is the first in Sun Group’s chain of golf courses to be constructed throughout the country. The second phase of the golf course is going to be completed at the end of 2018.

With Ba Na Hills, Ba Na-Suoi Mo Road, and now Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Sun Group aims to provide tourists with an alluring range of entertainment options when visiting Ba Na.

“We believe that with its unique beauty Ba Na Hills Golf Club is going to be a highlight of tourism in Danang and will help attract more foreign tourists, especially those with high income, to Danang,” said Dang Minh Truong, CEO of Sun Group.
