New division to boost ETL service standards

Enterprise Telecommunication Laos (ETL) recently launched its Network and Service Operation Division, which has a mission to update the quality of telecommunications services in Laos and bring them into line with international standards.

T he ceremony was attended by ETL Chief Executive Officer, Mr Thongsy Vilayvong, the Telecommunications Department Director General, Mr Sayleusa Insichiengmay along with the company employees.

The establishment of this division aims to promote the telecommunications services of the company to people and customers, create better confidence among users and increase the number of subscribers to ETL services and products.

The division will conduct surveillance of the network system, undertake continuous testing of ETL products and provide 24 hour customer care,” Chief Technical Officer, Mr Soudchay Lorlohnsy said at the event.

It will also serve as the centre for coordination and following and resolving problems and complaints.

The division will collect network information, monitor telecommunications equipment and audit all services, aiming to drive better development in the company's systems, Mr Soudchay reported.

ETL will continue to enhance and de velop its telecommunications service systems and seek new products to supply customers and society.
