Vietnam carrier to inaugurate Hanoi-Taipei service in Feb

Vietnamese low-cost airline Vietjet will introduce a new flight route from Hanoi to Taipei starting next month.

There will be three return flights a week between the two capitals, with the maiden service slated for February 1 from Hanoi, Vietjet said on Friday.

According to the airline, the flight between Hanoi and Taipei will take 2 hours and 40 minutes, and will be operated every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The flight will depart from Hanoi at 3:10 pm and arrive at Taipei at 6:50 pm (local time). The return flight will depart at 7:50 pm and arrive in Hanoi at 9:30 pm.

Vietjet currently offers daily service between Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei.
