PV Oil and PVFCO get new general directors

PetroVietnam on January 4 appointed general directors of the PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) and Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Company (PVFCCo).

Cao Hoai Duong, who was general director of PVFCCO, will be the new general director of PV Oil, and Doan Van Nhuom, who was the general director of PV Oil, will be the general director of PVFCCo.

PV Oil's activities include export and import of crude oil and products, as well as distribution of oil products. In 2015, the company's earned VND49 trillion (US$2.18 billion) in revenue and US$600 billion ($26.7 million) in profits. The company exported 16 million tonnes of crude oil and natural-gas condensate, worth $6.6 billion.

PVFCCO's main products are fertilisers and chemicals. It has 90 branches and about 3,000 retailers located throughout the country. It produced 830 trillion tonnes of Phu My fertilisers in 2015.
