New mall opens in HCM City

Pearl Plaza, the first mall in HCM City's Binh Thanh District, welcomed 25,000 visitors on its opening day on November 7.

Located at 561A Dien Bien Phu Street in Ward 25, the SSG Group-owned mall offers a full range of shopping, dining, sports, and recreational services for people of all ages.

It has shops selling well-known fashion and furniture brands, a Co.opmart supermarket outlet, Japanese one-price supermarket Komonoya, a cineplex, a gymnasium, modern entertainment facilities, and dining outlets.

More than 90 per cent of its 26,822sq.m commercial area has been leased out, the company said.

Dinh Ngoc Ninh, general director of SSG Group, said the opening of Pearl Plaza marks his company's entry into the retail sector.

To celebrate its opening, the mall is offering customers vouchers and gifts during this month and retailers are offering attractive promotions.

The mall is in the Pearl Plaza Complex, which also includes grade A office space for lease, apartments, and a convention centre.
