CAMBUILD’15 starts today

More than 5,000 local and overseas investors and exhibitors are expected to join the three-day CAMBUILD’15, the largest event for the country’s building & construction industry, starting today.

This year, the event has attracted more than 300 exhibitors from over 20 countries including China, Singapore and Malaysia, whom will present their latest projects with special offers for buyers and investors. This is the fifth year the expo has been a host for the event.

A press conference was held last Thursday, introducing 12 of the exhibitors and sponsors, some of whom are new participants of the exhibition.

Developer The Flora, which focuses on houses, including shop houses and villas, first-timers to the event, will introduce its new projects to the public during the exhibition, general manager Tang Sok Kim told the Post.

J&C Real Estate’s sale and marketing manager Ney Sokraingsey also believes that the expo can help the company reach more potential customers, who can get loans from the company for 10 years with an interest rate of 1 per cent per month for successful purchase.

Organizer AMB Events Group anticipated the event can appeal more than 5,000 visitors and exhibitors, said the director of the group Andrew Siow, adding that invitation letters were sent to inform both local and overseas visitors.

Siow said while the expo can provide a one-stop platform for investors to meet developers from different countries, other sectors, including tourist and hotel industries, can also benefit from the flock of foreign visitors, hence boosting the country’s economy.

Themed with ‘Innovation & Solutions On Building, Construction & Infrastructure Development’ , this year the exhibition is held at the Diamond Island Convention & Exhibition Center until Saturday.
