Auto Lao launches new Mercedes-Benz models in first for Asia

Auto Lao Company Limited has officially launched two new Mercedes-Benz models for the first time in Laos and Asia on September 9.

The company arranged a luxury ceremony to present the two models, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé, in front of over 150 guests at a VIP event at the Mercedes-Benz showroom on Asean road.

General Manager of Auto Lao Company Limited Mr Anolack Thammavong said Maybach had been producing the most luxurious sedans in the world since 1909 and they were confident the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class would set new standards in comfort and agility.

He added that although Mercedes-Benz was committed to bringing luxurious sedans onto the market, the brand hasn't forgotten its love for sports cars. The German automaker therefore unveiled the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé sports model on the same night.

“We are now able to offer the best of both worlds in the luxurious S-Class segment: a limousine-resembling model for executives and dignitaries, and a two-door coupé for speed and power enthusiasts” explained Mr Anolack.

Auto Lao Company Limited is the authorised general distributor for Mercedes-Benz in the Lao PDR with their showroom on Asean road in Vientiane.
