Techcom Securities introduces new online investment platform

Techcom Securities, a wholly owned subsidiary of Techcombank, launched on August 12 an online investment platform TCInvest that provides investors advanced investing and analysis tools and corporate risk rating system.

TCInvest helps investors to choose suitable products and diversify their investment portfolios based on their own risk appetites, using only one integrated cross-platform account.

TCInvest's key features include quick and easy steps to open and activate new online accounts, detailed and sophisticated reports on transaction and investment portfolios, deep integration with Techcombank's core banking system to enable real-time online transfers and enhanced security capabilities, and advanced risk management system to ensure safety and reliability for investing and margin lending activities, as well as professional investment analysis tools on the equity market and corporate bodies to help investors have the best selection.

CFA, Nguyen Xuan Minh, chairman of Techcom Securities, said, "TCInvest is a new investment experience that TechcomSecurities is introducing to high net-worth investors in Viet Nam." He said the initiative was to follow TCBS core strategies of investing in technology and give the retail investor professional investing experience with financial tools, products and services.

Minh said the investment in technology was to eliminate all possible risks led by psychological factors that possibly lead to wrong decisions by investors.

Techcom Securities aims to create an investment marketplace where retail investors in Viet Nam can easily select the most appropriate investment products and services, based on their own financial risk appetites, cash flow and liquidity needs anytime and anywhere.

CFA Tran Nhat Nam, head of Online Securities of TCBS, said with the one-stop-shop service that connected banks, bonds and stocks in one account on a single online platform, retail investors could make their most effective decisions, just like professional investors.

Investors could easily shift to banking or bond investment if they find the stock market was not so good, Nam said.

CTInvest will be available on IOS and Android platforms as well as computers.

Minh said Techcom Securities was currently one of the largest securities companies in Viet Nam in terms of shareholder equity and revenue. Earlier, TCBS was better known for its financial consulting services. Now, it is time to pay more attention to retail investors.

Minh also said TCBS was expected to be listed on the local market in 2017 or 2018.
