More new firms register for establishment in 2015

More than 52,000 new enterprises registered for establishment this year, with combined capital of VND321.3 trillion (US$14.74 billion).

 

The number increased 22.7 per cent and the value rose by 22.4 per cent over the same period last year.

The General Statistics Office revealed the figures in a report on national socio-economic development during the first seven months of 2015.

Some 32,370 companies halted operations this year due to unfavourable conditions, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 per cent. However, the number of firms resuming operations rose by 5.8 per cent year-on-year, reaching some 9,970 in seven months.
