Tinh Bien – An Giang international fair opens

Nearly 200 exhibitors are participating in the 2015 Tinh Bien – An Giang International Trade Fair in An Giang Province's Tinh Bien District.

The fair, which is co-organised by the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and An Giang provincial People's Committee, will finish today.

More than 400 booths feature a wide range of items from Viet Nam, Thailand, and Cambodia. The items include forestry and aquatic produce, processed food and consumer goods, wooden furniture and interior design articles, building materials and craft products.

A series of activities, including meetings on trade exchanges and investment for businesses, a Cambodian market survey programme, as well as folk games and special art performances, are also included.

The fair presents domestic enterprises, especially those in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta region, with opportunities to boost goods exports, promote their brand names, and investment cooperation with other partners in the Mekong sub-region, and strengthen trade ties between the region and neighbouring Cambodia and other ASEAN countries.
