Savills Viet Nam launches Korean Desk

Joon-sun Yoon has been officially appointed as Associate Director, Business Development of Savills Viet Nam, who will be in charge of the Korean Desk.

Yoon received a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Oklahoma City University, the United States, and has had many years of experience working with Korean clients at Savills Korea and in other Korean real estate related corporations, such as CJ and Daewon.

Savills has been closely working with many well-known Korean developers, investors, occupiers and retailers through its 20-year operations and growth in Viet Nam

Neil MacGregor, Managing Director of Savills Vietnam, said: "Korean businesses have been active in Viet Nam for many years, and we can see their increasing interest in the Vietnamese real estate market once again. Therefore, the establishment of the Korean Desk will help Savills Viet Nam serve its Korean clients more effectively. This step also supports our business strategy to consistently raise the bar and offer the best services to our clients."

The newly-established Korean Desk will extend Savills' expertise to provide full service platform to Korean enterprises and businesses in Viet Nam, as well as other neighbouring markets, including Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.

Two years ago, Savills Viet Nam hosted a seminar on Viet Nam's property market in Seoul, South Korea, in order to build on growing interest among Korean developers in Viet Nam's development.
