Vista Verde wins high award at Asia Pacific Property Awards 2015

CapitaLand’s prime residential development in Vietnam, Vista Verde, has won the prestigious “Best Condominium in Vietnam” at Asia Pacific Property Awards 2015.

Following extensive judging for the Asia Pacific regional competition, Vista Verde has been notified that it is among a select few winning condominium in the International Property Awards 2015-2016.

The award recognises CapitaLand’s efforts to incorporate internationally good design principles and practices at Vista Verde, CapitaLand’s latest high-end residential development in Vietnam.

Comprising 1,152 high-end apartments across four 35-storey residential towers with spectacular views of the Saigon River, Phu My Bridge and the surrounding city, Vista Verde showcases lush green landscaping and features designed to bring a symphony of nature to residents.

Strategically located in the heart of District 2’s administrative centre, it is five minutes away from essential amenities and 10 minutes away from districts 1 and 7. Vista Verde provides residents with state-of-the-art recreational facilities. In addition, a shopping town at the ground floor provides residents with essential retail shopping at their convenience. Designed for modern living, it is designed with spacious living and dining areas, natural ventilation and loggia.

According to Chen Lian Pang, CEO of the CapitaLand (Vietnam) Holdings, these awards were testaments of CapitaLand’s commitment to incorporate its international experience in building good quality homes and delivering innovative real estate products and services to the Vietnamese.

“We have received very positive feedback from the market for this project with 80 per cent of launched units were sold and we target to complete and handover Vista Verde to homebuyers by mid-2017 and according to schedule,” said Pang.

The Asia Pacific region has a consistently high success rate competing at international level. Last year it even beat its own record by scooping 20 World’s Best Awards out of a possible 49. No other region has yet come close to achieving this impressive international score.

Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said, “Entries for the Asia Pacific region were up yet again this year with 25 different countries competing strongly across each and every category. It is immensely gratifying to be presented with such levels of excellence and be in a position to reward and promote winning companies not only regionally but also internationally.”

Vietnam is one of CapitaLand’s key markets in Asia. The real estate market in Vietnam is supported by the country’s strong economic growth, rapid urbanisation and a young and growing population. CapitaLand is committed to being a long-term real estate developer in the country.

CapitaLand's current presence in Vietnam is in the four major cities – Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Haiphong and Danang, in the residential and serviced residences sectors.
In the residential sector, CapitaLand has a portfolio of close to 6,000 quality homes across six residential projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

In the serviced residence sector, its wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited, has a portfolio of more than 1,800 apartment units in 12 properties across the four major cities, making it the largest international serviced residence owner-operator in the country.
