Vietnamese firms attend trade fair in Cambodia

Enterprises from the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long are taking part in a trade fair in the Cambodian province of Kampong Speu.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on Wednesday, Cambodian Minister of Commerce Sun Chanthol praised the participation of Vietnam's businesses, which he said reflected the strong co-operation efforts made by the two provinces' authorities.

Vietnamese commodities displayed at the exposition – including construction materials, agricultural produce, saplings and fertilizer – received positive responses from locals.

The Kampong Speu trade fair will finish today, featuring 80 booths run by Cambodian and Vietnamese enterprises.
