The best workplaces in Vietnam, survey

Unilever continues to be voted the best place to work in Vietnam in 2014, according to a survey conducted annually by Anphabe and Nielsen, the market research firm.

This firm, which was voted the best place to work last year as well, was the most attractive employer in the two categories of development opportunities and corporate reputation. Along with Unilever, this list includes familiar names such as Vinamilk, HSBC, Vietcombank, Cargill Vietnam, and VNG, among others.

Compared with 2013, Vinamilk moved up one spot, from third to second. The leading dairy firm in Vietnam was also voted the most attractive employer in the two categories of salary, bonus and welfare and quality of work and life.

The most attractive employers for the two categories of culture & values and the management team were Intel and Microsoft.

The list of the 100 best workplaces in Vietnam in 2014 was released on March 5 by Anphabe and Nielsen. This year there were 20 Vietnamese companies on the list, compared with 14 in 2013. MobiFone was ranked 12th, PNJ 41st, Mobile World 57th and Nutifood 32nd.

This year's survey was carried out from October 2014 to January 2015, with 15,578 employees in 24 different occupations across the country.
