AEC Ford Everest seeks success in Asean markets

The new Ford Everest SUV made its debut in Thailand, redefining the Asean markets with a bold design, advanced technology and stunning off-road features.

Asean countries and other regions were also introduced to the new Ford Ranger at the 36th Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand from March 23-24.

“ With the new Ford Everest, we're further strengthening our showroom lineup across Asean markets with a comfortable and refined family vehicle capable of taking on the roughest terrain in Southeast Asia,” the President of Ford Asean Matt Bradley said on Tuesday.

The new Everest embodies Ford's fun-to-drive policy, delivering rewarding and dynamic road handling while making no compromises on refinement and comfort.

“The Ford Everest will help to expand our product footprint in the region with a tough and refined vehicle that enables drivers, their families, friends and colleagues to go anywhere comfortably - whether on urban roads or far off the beaten track,” Richard Tilley, vehicle line director, Ford Asia Pacific, said.

The new Ford Everest will be available in both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models.

From the very beginning the company has set aggressive targets and with the Ford Everest we have truly raised the bar for this type of vehicle in design and capability, with advanced technologies for a smarter, safer and more capable vehicle.

The new Ford Everest will be manufactured at AutoAlliance Thailand in Rayong, Thailand.

“Each new global Ford vehicle has helped to redefine its respective segment and attract even more new-to-Ford customers. We're confident that the new Everest will do the same, as the smartest, most capable SUV in its class,” Managing Director, Ford Thailand Mrs Yukontorn Vickie Wisadkosin said.

The continuation of Ford's product-led transformation in Asean is on display at the 36th Bangkok International Motor Show with the global premiere of the new Ranger pickup and the Asean introduction of the new Everest SUV.

Revealing the two new global vehicles in Bangkok underscores Ford's commitment to continue introducing world-class vehicles to serve customers in Thailand, across Asean and around the world.
