Vietnam Airlines launches tour package to Japan

Vietnam Airlines said on February 10 that it has coordinated with other Vietnamese travel agencies on a special tour package to Japan lasting from February 20 to the end of March.

The offered tour is a five-day, four-night trip to Nagoya, Takayama and Tokyo. It costs VND26.299 million (US$1,236) and covers air fare, taxes, travel fees, accommodation, transport, a visa, insurance and tour guides.

A Ha Noi to Tokyo economy-class roundtrip ticket generally costs about VND20 million ($940).

Japan topped the 10 million visitor mark for the first time in 2013. It welcomed 85,000 Vietnamese visitors in 2013 and 100,000 in 2014. It aims to serve 200,000 Vietnamese tourists in 2017.
